CUSTOM ART

Objectives

The CUSTOM-ART project is focused on the development of a new generation of kesterite (CZTS) solar cells. IPC’s work focuses on the development of films with high barrier properties to encapsulate these cells and making these films recyclable.

Challenges

Kesterites have a number of advantages for developing a new generation of thin-film photovoltaic cells that meet the technical and economic constraints of architectural applications and street furniture. The development of encapsulation films with high barrier properties that can be recycled will help to meet the challenges of cell durability and the circular economy.
