This ambitious project aims to strengthen the national recyclability, recycling and re-incorporation strategy. It will also help reduce the environmental footprint of composites, but also promote the circular economy, thus meeting the sustainable development goals set by the France 2030 programme. In addition, it will contribute to the production of more environmentally safe products by addressing microplastics and substances in recycled materials.
The objective of the PICSU’R project is to integrate composite waste deposits from key sectors such as aeronautics, shipbuilding and wind turbine blades into the manufacture of a new floor covering. The project consortium aims to improve the recyclability of these materials, optimize recycling processes, and maximize their re-incorporation into new products.
